No member of staff, member of the public or company we work with should be put at risk by anything we do. It is fundamental to our business that we provide a safe working environment to protect anybody affected by our activities.
Our Health & Safety Policy is communicated to all our staff, outlining our practices and responsibilities to provide a safe working environment, as well as the employees’ responsibility to report and prevent unsafe practices they see whilst performing their duties.
We are committed to providing on going training and safety awareness to all staff, both in house and by external bodies. We are committed and in support of the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) and staff all hold CSCS cards to reflect their roles and experience.
Staff are also trained in specific safety training relating to our particular industry. Most projects require working at height in some form, so all operatives are trained to IPAF Standards for the use of MEWP’s (Mobile Elevated Working Platforms) and PASMA for the use of Mobile Tower Platforms.
All staff are trained in and comply with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR) and also Working in Confined Spaces as a standard.
To enable us to work on and around the railway infrastructure and railway stations, our project team members are PTS (Personal Track Safety) certified and carry Sentinel cards covering both AC and DC certification.
Our commitment to health and safety is reflected in our company’s excellent safety record with no reportable incidents or accidents to date. We believe this commitment is a huge benefit to our staff and the clients we work with.
